the famous if only's

How many of us live in the would of's, should of's could of's and the famous if only's. If only I win the lottery, Oh how I should have not lived my life with those drugs, if only I could have married somebody different. The list can go on for days, we all have our past regrets, some people still live those regrets over and over in their minds. Seriously how can we live in todays if we are always looking behind what we had already done in our lives we cannot change the past. It is what it is. When we are to busy looking behind we cannot see what is in front of us today, for a better future. Sad truth around 30% of my friends today live with bipolar including my ex husband and more and more people in this world are becoming bipolar. The sad truth they have to learn how to control their minds with a happy little pill that they will have to take for the rest of their lives to control their emotions. Somedays are highs some days are lows and for them there is no happy medium. I honestly don't know enough about the disease itself to be preaching about bipolar. The thing I do know those of my friends all live in the would of's, should of's, could of's and only if's world. I associate that problem with the disease itself, those friends have had a drug problem in their past lives, trauma in their lives, and those friends don't know Jesus. That He is the healer, that He is the Savior, that He is the Rock the solid fondation who can set you Free and transform you into the person God had created you to be.

1John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

So therefore we have hope.

Transformation does not happen over night. It is a daily commentment, daily walk, it is a relationship that will never leave you it is truth and truth will set you free for the rest of our life eternally with our Lord.

Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved

Romans 10:11 As the scripture says " Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.

We need to learn how to live in accordance with the Spirit have our minds set on what the Spirit desires because the mind that is controlled by the spirit is life and peace.

For starters: peace is knowing our sins are forgiven we don't have to keep reminding ourselves that we are sinners that once we lived in shame and shame does not have to keep us down, shame does not have to control us any longer.

One scripture that stuck in my mind (and there are many more)

Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not count against him.

So the question today? How can we change our thinking? For we do not have to beat ourselves up anymore emotionally. Emotions cause stress, stress causes physical pain Don't you want to be free from all that junk. Think about what you are thinking about, Trust in the Lord who gives you everything you need, because when we are weak oh how He is mighty and strong.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. For He does love us so much.

Well said! If only's are just that...if onlys and will never be more/can never be more unless we apply them in our future. As far as bipolar, I too know people who are bipolar, infact several, and rather than believe thru faith in God, they choose to focus on demons. They actually have faith in them resulting in being demon possessed. Evil has them in it's grip. They fear demons rather than fearing God. They walk in demonic possession rather than look to God to help them overcome. They have settled in with satan rather than allowing God full control over their lives. Their minds are twisted rather than focused. I believe this charactorizes bipolar. To have this charactor. It is an act that defiles God. Bless you sister and I look forward to reading more!
